A fragrance from Grasse "Bois de Sandal" for your perfumed creations
This sweet "Sandalwood" fragrance will allow you to enhance your homemade creations.
All of our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and manufactured in Grasse, Provençal France, by master perfumers . They comply with European ( CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE ) and French ( IFRA ) standards.
No scent in our catalog is tested on animals.
Olfactory notes
The top notes begin with elemi and cardamom, offering a refreshing and spicy opening. Elemi, with its resinous and slightly citrusy scent, awakens the senses, while cardamom, aromatic and spicy, introduces a dimension of exotic warmth that sets the stage for a deeper, woody heart.
At the heart of the fragrance, patchouli, cedar, and iris blend to form a complex and rich central bouquet. Patchouli brings an earthy and slightly mystical depth, cedar offers its woody solidity and a touch of masculinity, while iris, with its delicate, powdery notes, adds a touch of refinement and softness to the whole.
The base notes are dominated by sandalwood, white musk, and amber. Sandalwood, the star of this fragrance, unfolds its woody, soft, and creamy notes, creating a rich and soothing base. White musk adds a subtle cleanliness and sensuality, while amber envelops the fragrance in a resinous warmth and sweet depth, finishing the scent with a lasting feeling of luxury and comfort.

To determine the dosage for your creations, we encourage you to conduct your own tests based on the aromatic intensity you are looking for. This also varies for each fragrance.

Our fragrances may contain CMRs (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, and Reprotoxic), but these levels (0.1% to 3.3%) are for the raw fragrance. In a candle (10% fragrance and 90% wax), the concentration is much lower and safe under normal conditions of use.
CMRs also exist in our daily lives: some essential oils, chlorine in swimming pools, and grilled meat contain them, although they are not prohibited. They play a key role in the olfactory rendering of perfumes, and removing them would alter their quality, as well as their olfactory possibilities. As for ethyl phthalate, it is safe and commonly used in cosmetics. It has nothing to do with the phthalates banned in toys! -
Perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for a maximum of 24 months. If the perfume crystallizes, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.
