Detailed description
This rounded cotton wick, size R3, perfectly suits the creation of a candle with a maximum diameter of 6cm in vegetable wax and beeswax.
With rounded wicks, it is important to respect the direction of the fibres. After cutting a length of wick from the spool, immediately tie a slip knot, this end of the wick must always form the top of the candle.The shape of the weave on the flattened side of the rounded wick must look like a V, with the open side towards the top of the candle and the pointed shape going down (see photo above).
- For creating poured candles, you must plunge your wick into melted wax and then let it dry. Repeat once or twice more. Then, when the wick is dry, place it in a round wick sustainer with a pin.
