ABOUT THIS FRAGRANCE
This sweet "Terre d'orient" fragrance will enhance your home creations.
All our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and made in Grasse in Provence, France by master perfumers. They comply with European(CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE) and French(IFRA) standards.
None of the fragrances in our catalogue have been tested on animals.
The top notes open with saffron, elemi and cedar leaf. Saffron, precious and spicy, brings an immediate touch of exoticism, its golden colour reflected in its rich, distinctive fragrance. Elemi, with its lemony, resinous undertones, adds a balsamic freshness, while cedar leaf introduces a green woody character, evoking the robustness and majesty of oriental forests.
At the heart of the fragrance, davana, styrax and iris combine to create an enchanting and complex blend. Davana, with its fruity, lightly woody notes, adds an unexpected richness, while styrax, balsamic and sweet, reinforces the oriental aspect of the fragrance. Iris, with its powdery, earthy finesse, adds a subtle elegance and depth that captivates the senses.
The base notes are anchored by vanilla, white cedar, myrrh and amber. Warm, enveloping vanilla offers comforting softness and a gourmand base that softens the spices and resins. White cedar extends the woody notes into a lighter, more refined emanation, while myrrh and amber add a mystical, sensual dimension with their rich, warm, resinous nuances.
To dose your creations, we invite you to carry out your own tests according to the aromatic intensity you are looking for. This also differs for each fragrance.

Our blogOur fragrances may contain CMRs (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, and Reprotoxic), but these levels (0.1% to 3.3%) are for the raw fragrance. In a candle (10% fragrance and 90% wax), the concentration is much lower and safe under normal conditions of use.
CMRs also exist in our daily lives: some essential oils, chlorine in swimming pools, and grilled meat contain them, although they are not prohibited. They play a key role in the olfactory rendering of perfumes, and removing them would alter their quality, as well as their olfactory possibilities.
As for ethyl phthalate, it is safe and commonly used in cosmetics. It has nothing to do with the phthalates banned in toys!
Perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for a maximum of 24 months. If the perfume crystallizes, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.
We do not offer samples. The smallest size available for most fragrances is 30 ml.
