Very common in the candle-making industry, Series TCR wicks are suited to soy waxes, rapeseed waxes and beeswaxes for container candles (poured candles).
These wicks undergo no chemical treatment. You can prime them yourself and they can be mounted on a base. The first number after "TCR" indicates the number of strands on the outside, the second the number of strands inside the wick. They are cotton wicks with a paper core.
ECO candle wicks are flat braided cotton wicks featuring fine paper threads that give the wick a rigid structure without the need for a core. An excellent choice for soy candles, this wick offers good burn stability and works well in votive candles, container candles and moulded candles.
ECO wicks also work well with wax blends and low-melt-point paraffin waxes.
Our LX series wicks are flat, sturdy braided wicks made from pure warp-spun cotton threads. They are stabilised with rigid-structure threads to make pouring the wax easier. LX wicks are recommended for paraffin waxes. They are designed to improve the burn of scented and coloured candles, votive candles and pillar candles. The LX series reduces afterglow, smoke and soot. The wick's position minimises or eliminates carbon build-up (mushrooming).
