Wicks for container candles mounted on a support (ECO)
These wicks are specially designed for making poured candles (container candles, scented candles).
Some ECO series wicks are now replaced by STABILO wicks .
- Stabilo 2 replaces Eco 0.2: 30 - 35 mm 120 mm
- Stabilo 3 replaces Eco 0.50: 35 - 50 mm 120 mm
- Stabilo 4 replaces Eco 0.75: 50 - 54 mm 120 mm
Particularly pretty, ECO wicks are made in Europe from natural flat cotton threads interwoven with paper threads which produce a rigid structure.
The flame is regular, the ECO wicks work well with vegetable waxes and ensure an even burn.
ECO candle wicks are guaranteed lead and zinc free. To help you choose the right wick for your candle, check out our wick guide.
Our wicks are untreated and comply with European REACH regulations.
Choosing the right wick
It is important to choose your wick carefully according to the diameter of your glass.
If you use perfume and/or dyes, you will need to take a larger size.
This size chart below is a rough guide - different waxes, fragrances and colours all have an effect on the candle wick.
Trial and error is the only way to ensure correct wicking.
An improperly matched, low-wattage wick will cause a crater.
A wick that is too powerful will cause a large flame with significant consumption.
A well-fitted wick melts the wax over the entire diameter with a height of 10 mm (pool).

Our advice for your ECO wick
To use a coated wick on a base, pour 2 mm of liquid wax into your container and immediately add your coated wick to the bottom to hold it. Thus, after 15 seconds, your wick will be perfectly fixed in the wax. Then, fill your container, leaving 7 mm of wick on the surface.
Remember, depending on the dosage and type of wax and/or dye, it is important to carry out tests to define the right wick for your candles. If you have difficulty in your choice, we invite you to consult our guide.
