Terre de Bougies offers its Boost range of Grasse fragrances, formulated for a 1% dosage in your scented candles. These fragrances let you cut the cost of your homemade scented creations while keeping an optimal scent throw at a low dosage.

Simplified regulations, without confusion

These fragrances are an innovative solution for designing quality candles while considerably reducing regulatory constraints. At a dosage of 1%, each fragrance in the Boost range requires neither a UFI declaration nor complex CLP labelling.

It is important to point out that this is not a complete absence of CLP labelling, but rather simplified labelling. At this concentration, the fragrances do not trigger any classification requiring H hazard statements.

The label is therefore limited to the general mandatory information set out by the regulations: you must always indicate the product name, the weight or volume, and your full contact details as the person responsible for placing it on the market. If allergens are present and must be declared, the statement EUH208 must also appear.

At 1%, fragrances with no mandatory CLP warning statements on your labels

When dosed at 1%, any candle or wax melt scented with one of the following fragrances is not subject to mandatory CLP warning statements:

• Monoï
• Fleur de Coton
• Rouge de Fruits
• Éclat de Noisettes
• Spritz rhubarbe
• Orange blossom
• Spiced apple
• Fruits des bois
• Christmas tree
• Iris et lavande

The safety data sheet may nevertheless show certain precautionary statements, such as P101 or P103, whose inclusion remains optional. Where relevant, it is recommended to add the precautionary statement P102, even though it is not mandatory.
