Fragrance density (section 9.1 of the SDS)

Density indicates the total weight of a fragrance for a given volume. This means the weight can vary from one fragrance oil to another even if the volume is identical. Knowing the density is especially useful for precise dosing on large production runs. You can find the fragrance density in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) under section 9.1.
Section 9.1 lists the density at 20 degrees Celsius. Note that density can be affected by ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure, which is why you'll usually find two values. We consider the lower value to be the most relevant. Enter 0 if you want the tool to ignore density. This setting matters mainly for large professional batches (around >100 candles).
