MyTDB is live: your workshop finally has its own office

Making a candle comes down to one simple act. Around it lies everything else: tracking down the safety data sheet, designing the label, recalculating the dosage, hunting for the recipe you scribbled in a notebook that has since gone missing. That “everything else” often takes longer than the making itself.

That’s exactly what we designed MyTDB for: our new online space for makers. It’s finally opening its doors, built on one simple belief: you already have a workshop – all you were missing was an office.

MyTDB is for every maker: hobbyists and professionals alike, whether or not you’re a Terre de Bougies customer. You can bring together the CLP labels for all your creations in one place, including those scented with fragrances from other suppliers.

Why did we create MyTDB?

Your questions have always guided us. Where can I find the safety data sheet for this fragrance? What dosage for this container? Which wick for this diameter? We answer them every day. And every day, we see the same makeshift toolkit: a spreadsheet for the calculations, a notebook for the recipes, layout software for the label, PDFs scattered across a downloads folder.

We wanted to bring all of that together in one place, without taking anything away from your creative freedom. Everything you need to manage your creations.

What MyTDB promises you

MyTDB comes down to three promises. You’ll find them in full, tool by tool, on mytdb.eu.

When regulations change, so does your label

With our fragrances, the CLP labels for your candles and home fragrance products are generated from our safety data sheets, which we keep up to date. With fragrances from other suppliers, you enter their information yourself, so all your labels end up in one place.

They can be generated in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Dutch, depending on the country you sell in. Your regulatory documents are neatly filed and can be found in seconds. Compliance is still your responsibility, but it’s no longer a chore.

The right calculations before you pour

Wax and fragrance, wicks, diffusers, dyes, fragrance blends, Jesmonite: it took us years to master these calculations, and now they take you just a few clicks. So you can test with more confidence and waste less material.

Your recipes and tests, kept safe

Your formulas, your test sheets, the ideas you jot down on the fly: everything lives in your private online workshop, so you can recreate any success down to the last detail. A resource centre also brings together useful tools, texts and contacts to help your business grow.

A new identity in the Terre de Bougies family

MyTDB isn’t just another brand. It’s our promise: to be the partner behind your scented creations.

So it has its own colours: a deep olive green, with touches of gold and terracotta. Everything else stays the same: the same typeface as Terre de Bougies and TDB Solution, the same droplet at the heart of the logo. Same family, same know-how.

Built with makers

MyTDB wasn’t dreamt up on a whiteboard. Before opening it to everyone, we handed it over to a group of makers chosen from the members of our loyalty programme. During testing, they created their labels, saved their recipes, pushed the calculators to their limits – and told us everything. Every piece of feedback was read, and much of it has already helped shape the platform you see today.

Thank you to every one of them. And this is only the beginning: MyTDB is launching in beta. In practice, the tool is still being fine-tuned, and some features will keep improving as your feedback comes in. That’s a deliberate choice: we want to build MyTDB hand in hand with makers. • Already a customer? Sign up with the same email address you use on our online shop. That’s our tip for a smoother experience: the products you’ve bought and their documents will be waiting for you there.
• An interface in the same languages as our online shop: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian and Polish. Plus CLP labels in seven languages.
• In beta: the tool keeps improving with your feedback.
• Your customer account stays the same: MyTDB complements it rather than replacing it.
