Preservative for mists - Hebeatol

What is Hebeatol?

Hebeatol® is a blend of synergistic antioxidants designed to protect your water from bacterial growth (mould).

It is available in liquid form in 30 ml and can easily be incorporated into your mist production processes.

When using Hebeatol, you must make a UFI declaration.

How do you use this preservative for your fragrance mists?

Nothing could be simpler! Add 2% (the equivalent of a few drops for a mist) of the preservative to your mixture of demineralised water and perfumes for pillow mists. After shaking well, your linen mist is ready to use and will last longer.

Please note that Hebeatol® is not essential to the success of your pillow mist, but simply helps to extend its life and the olfactory power of the fragrances.

• Without preservative: 2 to 3 months
• With preservative (Hebeatol®): 12 to 24 months

To prevent the mixture from becoming cloudy, you should mix the fragrance and preservative before using the demineralised water.

How do I make my own mist?

These dosages are given as a guide. To adapt your creations to the desired intensity, we recommend you carry out your own tests.

For a pillow mist, start with 3% perfume and 95% demineralised water, simply mixed together. You can add a natural preservative at 2% to limit the growth of mould and bacteria, by adjusting the other proportions.

For a transparent, uniform result, always mix in this order:

1. Fragrance
2. Preservative
3. Demineralised water

Remember to shake the fragrance before use. If necessary, you can liquefy it by gently heating it, without exceeding 30°C. Also suitable for room sprays.

A product certified to Cosmos natural and organic cosmetics standards

This preservative for your pillow mists is Cosmos certified, which guarantees that it complies with natural and organic cosmetics standards. However, this does not necessarily mean that the product is entirely natural, as it is obtained in part by a synthetic process.
