Calculate precisely the amount of fragrance or candle wax you need for your scented candle or wax melt. We've developed this calculator to give you an accurate result.
Select your formula. The calculator applies the correct base-to-liquid ratio — 2.5 : 1 for AC100, 5 : 1 for AC730 and AC84 — in order to determine the quantity of powder (base) and liquid to mix.
Fill your mould with water, weigh it, then enter this weight in grams. It corresponds to the volume you are going to cast and serves as the basis for all the calculations.
Enable this option to add 10% of material to the theoretical calculation and offset losses (material left in the container, adjustment pours, etc.). Recommended, especially for large pieces or if you are a beginner.
You can tint your Jesmonite up to 2% of the total weight of material. The calculator indicates the corresponding quantity of pigment not to exceed in order to preserve the set and the strength.
