A fragrance from Grasse "Verbena and Peppermint" for your scented creations
This sweet fragrance "Verbena and Peppermint" will allow you to enhance your homemade creations.
All of our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and manufactured in Grasse, Provençal France, by master perfumers . They comply with European ( CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE ) and French ( IFRA ) standards.
No scent in our catalog is tested on animals.
Olfactory notes
The top notes fuse mint and lemon for a bright, penetrating opening. Peppermint brings an intense and immediate sensation of freshness, while lemon, with its zesty and invigorating character, brightens the composition, offering a touch of refreshing acidity that stimulates the senses from the very first moment.
At the heart of the fragrance, verbena and eucalyptus add a herbaceous and camphoric depth. Verbena, known for its calming properties and lemony scent, blends harmoniously with eucalyptus, which brings a decidedly fresh and almost medicinal dimension, reinforcing the fragrance's purifying and invigorating effect.
The base is anchored by sandalwood and lemongrass. Sandalwood, with its woody and creamy notes, provides a solid and soothing base that tempers the brightness of the top and middle notes. Lemongrass, a vibrant extension of the citrus notes, completes the fragrance with a slightly herbaceous and energetic finish, reinforcing the fragrance's refreshing ambiance.

To determine the dosage for your creations, we encourage you to conduct your own tests based on the aromatic intensity you are looking for. This also varies for each fragrance.

Our fragrances may contain CMRs (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, and Reprotoxic), but these levels (0.1% to 3.3%) are for the raw fragrance. In a candle (10% fragrance and 90% wax), the concentration is much lower and safe under normal conditions of use.
CMRs also exist in our daily lives: some essential oils, chlorine in swimming pools, and grilled meat contain them, although they are not prohibited. They play a key role in the olfactory rendering of perfumes, and removing them would alter their quality, as well as their olfactory possibilities. As for ethyl phthalate, it is safe and commonly used in cosmetics. It has nothing to do with the phthalates banned in toys! -
Perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for a maximum of 24 months. If the perfume crystallizes, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.
