Mica in a scented or decorative molded candle
Mica is a mineral dye, to tint a candle it is advisable not to exceed 2-3g of mica for 100g of wax. The mica will saturate the wax (like the candle dyes), it is preferable to use a larger size for the wick of the candle, it is advisable to stay on pastel colors in candle.
For the scented wax melts
You can dose your scented wax melts between 5 and 10g on 100 grams.

Presentation : Mica is a fine powder (20 to 150 microns, not considered a nanoparticle product) of green color, packaged in a small transparent plastic jar.
Easy to use : Our micas are delivered with a plastic container and a resealable plastic lid to ensure no spillage of powder. The colorfastness is stable over time.
Transparency : The micas in the Terre De Bougies store do not come from China or India. They are certified without nano-materials, nor allergenic substances and they are classified as "Non dangerous" according to the European directives. All our micas are "not tested on animals", "cruelty free" and vegan.

Nous déconseillons l'utilisation des micas dans les bougies. En effet, le mica est une poudre colorante qui risque de saturer la mèche et d'empêcher son bon fonctionnement.
Cependant, ils sont principalement appréciés pour colorer les fondants parfumés, les cosmétiques maison et les savons.
Les pigments permettent de colorer l'extérieur d'une bougie moulée, un peu comme un vernis.
Les colorants permettent de teinter entièrement la cire de la bougie, c'est un colorant soluble pour les cires végétales et minérales.
