This round wick is perfect for making a beeswax or vegetable wax candle.
With the round wick, it is important to respect the direction of the fibers.
After cutting a piece of wick from the spool, immediately tie a slip knot, with this end of the wick still forming the tip of the candle. The V-shaped structure of the flattened face of the round wick should open toward the tip of the candle (see photo above).
- To create cast candles, it is necessary to dip your wick into the melted wax and then let it dry. Do it again 1 or 2 times. Then, when the wick is dry, thread it into a round wick holder with a hole and tighten the wick holder with flat pliers.
If you have any difficulty in your choice, we invite you to consult our guide to choosing a candle wick.
Wicks are available in 5-metre bags or 50-metre spools.
It is important to experiment before you start creating candles.
