Our EcoCoco Container Pastilles coconut wax is specially developed for the production of container candles. This wax is a 100% natural blend of coconut wax and naturally derived additives that offer a better scent and an improved burning experience.
The wax is biodegradable, vegan and contains no genetically modified ingredients, soya, palm or paraffin (with no traces of GMOs). It also complies with European safety and environmental standards.
The colour and shape of the shavings may vary depending on the arrival and harvesting of the season.
This natural coconut wax gives your scented cast candles an optimal olfactory result, both hot and cold. Its brilliant white colour means you can leave it untreated or colour it easily to suit your creations.
It adheres very well to the glass, as does the quality of the surface after pouring, which is perfectly smooth and shiny.
Thanks to its homogeneous combustion, this vegetable wax allows your massage candles to diffuse the fragrance with ideal intensity. Our dedicated guides will help you make successful scented massage candles.
EcoCoco wax for the production of container candles offers excellent fragrance diffusion, a smooth surface finish, optimum adhesion to glass and a brilliant white colour, typical of coconut wax. It only needs to be poured once for an impeccable result.
Melt the wax at around 70°C to incorporate colours and fragrances. It tolerates temporary temperatures of up to 90°C, provided it cools quickly.
Powdered colourants need to be heated to 75°C to dissolve completely, while liquid or flake colourants are added at 70°C. A black colourant can be added to intensify the tint.
Add fragrances of between 5 and 12% at 60°C, after melting the wax at 70°C. This method ensures even diffusion and better olfactory quality.
Clean and preheat the containers to 45-50°C for better adhesion and perfect pouring. Pour the melted wax at 60°C for best results.
Thicker wicks are recommended for vegetable wax. A wick that is too thick will cause soot and drips, while one that is too thin will cause a tunnel. Test different types for optimum results.
Allow your candles to cool to room temperature (around 25°C) and wait 48 hours before testing the burn to ensure a stable flame and perfect fragrance diffusion.
The temperatures indicated above are based on our internal tests and may differ from the values mentioned in the supplier's technical data sheets.
The colour and shape of the chips may vary depending on the batch and harvest.
