TCR/ECO/LX Special Series Wicks for candles

What are TCR wicks?

Very common in the candle making industry, Series TCR wicks are suitable with soy, rapeseed and beeswaxes for candles in containers (poured candles).

These wicks are not chemically treated. You can coat your wicks and they can be mounted on a stand. The first number after "TCR" indicates the number of strands on the outside, the second number indicates the number of strands on the inside of the wick. These are cotton wicks with a paper core.

Flat wicks made of ECO braided cotton

ECO candle wicks are flat wicks made from braided cotton with fine paper threads that give the wick a rigid structure without the need for a core. An excellent choice for soy candles, this wick has good burning stability which works well in votive candles, container candles and moulded candles.

ECO wicks also work well with wax blends and low melting paraffin waxes.

Our LX Series Wicks

Our LX series wicks are strong, flat braided wicks made from pure cotton warp spun yarns.

They are stabilised by rigidly structured threads to facilitate the pouring of the wax. LX wicks are recommended for paraffin waxes. They are designed to improve the burning of scented and coloured candles, votive candles and pillar candles. The LX series offers reduced afterglow, smoke and soot. The auto-trick wick position minimises or eliminates carbon (fungus formation).
