Fragrance additives in candles and melts are mainly used to dilute essential oils and fragrances, thus facilitating their homogeneous incorporation into the wax. They prolong the diffusion of aromas by slowing their evaporation and prevent the oxidation of perfumed oils, thus preserving their quality. In addition, they stabilize the scent mixture, ensuring constant and uniform diffusion during combustion. Finally, certain additives prevent the degradation of perfumes, thus maintaining their intensity and olfactory effectiveness over time.
