What is stearin used for in a candle?

This plant-based stearin from RSPO-certified plantations is a palm-based fatty acid. Due to its opacifying effect, the rendering of the colors is more pastel. Thanks to the acid consumed during combustion, the flame is brighter. It is perfect for making scented candles, because it allows excellent diffusion of the fragrance.

Use case: Candle sand alone or in addition to other waxes

For creating molded and poured candles: vegetable stearin can be used alone or in addition to any type of wax. It makes your candles harder and considerably increases their lifespan. You can use 10% of candle sand with any other wax. The latter increases the melting point of your candles (useful when creating wax objects, tealight holders, etc.).
