With the BOOST range, fragrances used at 1% dosage do not require a UFI declaration for your candles. This simplifies the marketing of your scented creations, as CLP labelling is limited to the mandatory regulatory information.

We are proud to offer you this revolutionary range. Exclusive to Terre de Bougies, optimise your yields by multiplying your production by 10. The entire range is not subject to UFI declaration and CLP labelling has been greatly lightened. We'll tell you all about it here.

Get the best possible scent at the lowest cost

The promise of our BOOST range is to enable you to make significant savings on your home fragrance creations. The 1% fragrances compete with classic fragrances dosed at 10%, with a very similar olfactory result, at a much lower cost. You can multiply by 10 the number of candles you can produce with the same amount of fragrance.

In practical terms, you can make 30 candles with just 30 ml of fragrance, saving €40.5 at the introductory price for 30 100 ml candles compared with conventional fragrances containing 10%.

Simplified legislation, without confusion

These fragrances offer an innovative solution for designing quality candles while considerably reducing regulatory constraints. At a dosage of 1%, each fragrance in the Boost range does not require a UFI declaration or complex CLP labelling.

It is important to note that this does not mean no CLP labelling at all, but simplified labelling. At this concentration, fragrances do not trigger any classification requiring H hazard statements. The label is therefore limited to the general information required by the regulations, and you must always indicate the product name, weight or volume, as well as your full contact details as the person responsible for placing the product on the market. If allergens are present and must be declared, the EUH208 warning must also appear.

At a dosage of 1%, each candle or fondant scented with one of the following fragrances is not subject to the mandatory CLP warnings:

  • Monoï
  • Cotton Flower
  • Rouge de Fruits
  • Hazelnut Radiance
  • Rhubarb Spritz
  • Orange blossom
  • Spiced apple
  • Forest fruits
  • Christmas tree
  • Iris and lavender

The safety data sheet may nevertheless include certain precautionary statements, such as P101 or P103, which are optional. Where relevant, we recommend adding precautionary statement P102, even if it is not compulsory.

Things to remember

The BOOST range from Terre de Bougies is a particularly advantageous solution for creators of scented candles. It makes it possible to increase production while maintaining a high level of olfactory quality, with a reduced investment. In addition, the regulatory framework is simplified, thanks to the absence of a 1% UFI declaration and CLP labelling limited to strictly mandatory information. An ideal approach for securing your business, gaining peace of mind and optimising your costs, while remaining compliant with current regulations.
