A fragrance from Grasse “Feu de bois” for your scented creations
This sweet “Feu de bois” fragrance will allow you to enhance your homemade creations.
All of our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and made in Grasse in Provençal France by master perfumers . They comply with European ( CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE ) and French ( IFRA ) standards.
No scent in our catalog is tested on animals.
Olfactory notes
Top notes are composed of thyme and iris. Thyme, with its spicy, slightly medicinal scent, introduces an immediate feeling of warmth, while iris brings a touch of sophistication with its powdery, earthy undertones, evoking rustic elegance.
At the heart of the perfume, cedar and birch unfold to reinforce the woody dimension of the fragrance. Cedar, known for its rich and soothing woody scent, evokes the solidity and durability of ancient forests. Birch, with its slightly smoky and resinous notes, adds a more complex and deep texture, reminiscent of wood burning in a fireplace.
The bottom is anchored by moss and lichen. Moss provides a verdant, moist quality that evokes forest undergrowth, adding a dimension of natural freshness. Lichen, with its subtle, earthy nuances, concludes the fragrance with a mysterious and slightly bitter base note, reinforcing the ambiance of wild nature and outdoor comfort.
Recommended dosage of our “Feu de bois” fragrance
To measure your creations, we invite you to carry out your own tests according to the aromatic intensity you are looking for. This also differs for each perfume.
To incorporate this scent into your wax, we advise you to follow the dosage indicated on the product sheet as well as our guide on how to correctly dose your scented candles and melts.

Our fragrances may contain CMRs (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, and Reprotoxic), but these levels (0.1% to 3.3%) are for the raw fragrance. In a candle (10% fragrance and 90% wax), the concentration is much lower and safe under normal conditions of use.
CMRs also exist in our daily lives: some essential oils, chlorine in swimming pools, and grilled meat contain them, although they are not prohibited. They play a key role in the olfactory rendering of perfumes, and removing them would alter their quality, as well as their olfactory possibilities. As for ethyl phthalate, it is safe and commonly used in cosmetics. It has nothing to do with the phthalates banned in toys! -
Perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for a maximum of 24 months. If the perfume crystallizes, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.

We do not offer samples. The smallest package is 30 mL for most fragrances.
You can, however, exchange your loyalty points for the 30 mL perfume of your choice in your dedicated space.
