ABOUT THIS FRAGRANCE
This sweet fragrance "Maquis Corse" will allow you to enhance your homemade creations.
All of our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and manufactured in Grasse, Provençal France, by master perfumers . They comply with European ( CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE ) and French ( IFRA ) standards.
No scent in our catalog is tested on animals.
The top notes open with mugwort, rosemary, and lavender. This trilogy of aromatic herbs offers a fresh and invigorating introduction, each plant bringing its own distinctive nuance: mugwort with its bitter notes, rosemary with its woody, camphoric character, and lavender, which softens everything with its sweet, soothing scent.
The heart of the fragrance is dominated by cedarwood and mint leaves. The robust and majestic cedar brings a woody depth reminiscent of dense, resinous forests, while the mint introduces a piquant freshness that revitalizes and clarifies the whole, reminiscent of crisp island mornings.
Base notes of licorice and tobacco add a rich, slightly sweet and salty dimension to the fragrance. Licorice, with its sweet and slightly bitter undertones, blends harmoniously with tobacco, which adds a touch of warmth and complexity. Together, they form a captivating base that anchors the scent, leaving a lasting and deeply aromatic impression.
To determine the dosage for your creations, we encourage you to conduct your own tests based on the aromatic intensity you are looking for. This also varies for each fragrance.

Our blogOur fragrances may contain CMRs (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, and Reprotoxic), but these levels (0.1% to 3.3%) are for the raw fragrance. In a candle (10% fragrance and 90% wax), the concentration is much lower and safe under normal conditions of use.
CMRs also exist in our daily lives: some essential oils, chlorine in swimming pools, and grilled meat contain them, although they are not prohibited. They play a key role in the olfactory rendering of perfumes, and removing them would alter their quality, as well as their olfactory possibilities.
As for ethyl phthalate, it is safe and commonly used in cosmetics. It has nothing to do with the phthalates banned in toys!
Perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for a maximum of 24 months. If the perfume crystallizes, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.
We do not offer samples. The smallest size available for most fragrances is 30 ml.
