1.5 L electric wax melter to melt your wax

The Terre de Bougies electric wax melter melts your waxes easily and quickly, with no need for a water bath. With its 1.5 L capacity, it is ideal for your tests and small productions, for home or semi-professional use. Suitable for beginners and experienced users alike, it comes with FR/EN instructions.

Cleaning and maintaining the melter

The melter is cleaned in three steps:

• Remove excess wax: once the wax has cooled slightly but is still liquid, wipe the inside of the melter with a scrunched-up paper towel, replacing it as soon as it is soaked with wax. Wear gloves to protect your hands from the heat. If the wax becomes too hard to wipe away, heat the melter, switch it off once the wax has melted, then wipe the wax away while it is still liquid.
• Clean with alcohol: if any wax residue remains, clean the inside of the melter with rubbing alcohol once it has cooled. After using coloured wax, the alcohol also helps remove stubborn dye residue.
• Deodorise: if the inside still smells of the last fragrance used, sprinkle it with bicarbonate of soda, then rub gently with a damp sponge. Leave for about 30 minutes, then rinse and dry with kitchen paper.
