ABOUT THIS FRAGRANCE
This sophisticated "Garden of Tears" fragrance will enhance your home creations.
All our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and made in Grasse in Provence, France by master perfumers. They comply with European(CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE) and French(IFRA) standards.
None of the fragrances in our catalogue have been tested on animals.
The top notes are an intense blend of black pepper, cardamom, frankincense and nutmeg. Black pepper and cardamom provide a vibrant, spicy opening, while frankincense adds a sacred, meditative dimension. Nutmeg offers a subtle warmth, setting up a captivating and enigmatic introduction.
The heart of the fragrance is composed of guaiac wood, cedar, cashmere wood and cloves. These woody elements lend solidity and depth, with guaiac wood and cedar adding a robust, resinous touch. Cashmere wood injects a subtle sweetness, and cloves intensify the spicy character of the heart, enriching the fragrance with a warm, woody complexity.
Base notes of patchouli, balsam tolu, cypriol and ambergris offer a rich, long-lasting conclusion. Patchouli adds an earthy, slightly smoky base, tolu balsam provides a balsamic, vanilla touch, cypriol adds a woody, spicy note, and ambergris finishes the fragrance with a marine, slightly animalic sophistication.
To dose your creations, we invite you to carry out your own tests according to the aromatic intensity you are looking for. This also differs for each fragrance.

Our blogOur fragrances may contain CMRs (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, and Reprotoxic), but these levels (0.1% to 3.3%) are for the raw fragrance. In a candle (10% fragrance and 90% wax), the concentration is much lower and safe under normal conditions of use.
CMRs also exist in our daily lives: some essential oils, chlorine in swimming pools, and grilled meat contain them, although they are not prohibited. They play a key role in the olfactory rendering of perfumes, and removing them would alter their quality, as well as their olfactory possibilities.
As for ethyl phthalate, it is safe and commonly used in cosmetics. It has nothing to do with the phthalates banned in toys!
Perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for a maximum of 24 months. If the perfume crystallizes, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.
We do not offer samples. The smallest size available for most fragrances is 30 ml.
However, you can exchange your loyalty points for a selection of 30 ml fragrances in your dedicated area.
