All of our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and made in Grasse in Provençal France by master perfumers . They comply with European ( CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE ) and French ( IFRA ) standards.

No scent in our catalog is tested on animals.

Olfactory notes

Top notes are a refined blend of elemi, lemon, nutmeg and coriander. Elemi, with its incense and lemony scent, brings a slightly resinous and complex opening. Lemon adds zesty freshness, while nutmeg and coriander offer warm spicy touches that prelude a rich, deep sensory experience.

At the heart of the fragrance, violet, tuberose and ylang ylang form an opulent and captivating floral bouquet. Violet brings a powdery, earthy sweetness, tuberose, intensely fragrant, evokes lushness and exoticism, and ylang ylang, with its rich, suave notes, adds an almost narcotic floral dimension, reinforcing the aura of mystery of the black orchid.

The base is a rich composition of sandalwood, amber, vanilla and patchouli. Sandalwood and patchouli bring woody and earthy depth, while amber and vanilla offer amber warmth and gourmand sweetness, concluding the fragrance with enveloping and lingering notes.
