ABOUT THIS FRAGRANCE
The Ornat Natural Origin Perfumes collection was designed for creators wishing to develop candles or melts valued as 100% natural origin . Thanks to the certification provided, each fragrance can be used within the framework of COSMOS Natural and/or Organic certifications, an essential asset for those who aim to offer artisanal products that are both authentic and certifiable.
These fragrances, carefully formulated by our master perfumers in Grasse, are based on a rigorous selection of natural raw materials from the finest crops. Unlike classic fragrances, this range highlights a more refined olfactory palette , tighter accords and a uniquely rich sensory experience. The recommended dosage thus evolves towards 5 to 7% (compared to 7 to 10% previously), French excellence at the service of your creations of natural origin.
All our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and manufactured in France, in Grasse . They comply with European ( CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE ) and French ( IFRA ) standards, and are never tested on animals .
The top notes are composed of petitgrain, lemon, and clary sage. Petitgrain brings a woody, slightly bitter freshness, while lemon offers a sparkling and invigorating burst of citrus. Clary sage, with its herbaceous and almost floral nuances, adds a refined complexity, beginning the fragrance with a dynamic and clear opening.
The heart of the fragrance is composed of hawthorn, orange blossom, and bergamot. Hawthorn, with its subtle, slightly floral notes, pairs perfectly with orange blossom, which injects a sweet and delicately floral sweetness. Bergamot, meanwhile, reinforces the citrus character of the fragrance, bringing additional freshness and a slight bitterness.
Base notes of Virginia cedar, vanilla, and a powdery accord provide a rich, enveloping finish. Virginia cedar provides a solid and reassuring woody base, vanilla adds a comforting, gourmand sweetness, and the powdery accord concludes the fragrance with a sense of softness and sophistication, rounding off the scent with a subtle, lingering elegance.
To dose your creations, we advise you to start with 5 to 7% . This precise positioning will allow you to preserve the subtlety and olfactory richness specific to the Parfums ornat d'origine naturelle collection. Of course, each wax reacts differently: carry out your tests in order to adjust according to the desired result.

Our blogOur fragrances may contain CMRs (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, and Reprotoxic), but these levels (0.1% to 3.3%) are for the raw fragrance. In a candle (10% fragrance and 90% wax), the concentration is much lower and safe under normal conditions of use.
CMRs also exist in our daily lives: some essential oils, chlorine in swimming pools, and grilled meat contain them, although they are not prohibited. They play a key role in the olfactory rendering of perfumes, and removing them would alter their quality, as well as their olfactory possibilities.
As for ethyl phthalate, it is safe and commonly used in cosmetics. It has nothing to do with the phthalates banned in toys!
Perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for a maximum of 24 months. If the perfume crystallizes, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.
We do not offer samples. The smallest size available for most fragrances is 30 ml.
However, you can exchange your loyalty points for a selection of 30 ml fragrances in your dedicated area.
