ABOUT THIS FRAGRANCE
This sweet fragrance "Church Incense" will allow you to enhance your homemade creations.
All of our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and manufactured in Grasse, Provençal France, by master perfumers . They comply with European ( CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE ) and French ( IFRA ) standards.
No scent in our catalog is tested on animals.
The top notes open with frankincense, myrrh, and vanilla wood. Frankincense, with its rich, smoky scent, immediately evokes a sense of spirituality and tranquility. Myrrh adds a resinous, slightly spicy dimension, while vanilla wood brings a subtle, warm sweetness that softens the intensity of the resins.
At the heart of the fragrance, leather accord, humus, and aldehyde accord combine to create a rich, earthy complexity. The leather accord evokes the scent of leather church pews, adding a luxurious and deep texture. Humus, with its nuances of wet earth and forest, reinforces the mystical and ancient character, while the aldehyde accord brings an airy, clean freshness that illuminates the heart of the fragrance.
The base is anchored by opoponax, patchouli, and sandalwood. Opoponax, with its balsamic and sweet notes, offers an enveloping amber richness. Patchouli adds a woody and slightly spicy depth, and sandalwood concludes the fragrance on a woody, soft, and meditative note, prolonging the feeling of calm and peace.
To determine the dosage for your creations, we encourage you to conduct your own tests based on the aromatic intensity you are looking for. This also varies for each fragrance.

Our blogOur fragrances may contain CMRs (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, and Reprotoxic), but these levels (0.1% to 3.3%) are for the raw fragrance. In a candle (10% fragrance and 90% wax), the concentration is much lower and safe under normal conditions of use.
CMRs also exist in our daily lives: some essential oils, chlorine in swimming pools, and grilled meat contain them, although they are not prohibited. They play a key role in the olfactory rendering of perfumes, and removing them would alter their quality, as well as their olfactory possibilities.
As for ethyl phthalate, it is safe and commonly used in cosmetics. It has nothing to do with the phthalates banned in toys!
Perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for a maximum of 24 months. If the perfume crystallizes, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.
We do not offer samples. The smallest size available for most fragrances is 30 ml.
