Discover Coconut Wax for your Molded Candles and Wax Melts
Our EcoCoco PillarBlend coconut wax is specially formulated for the production of molded candles and melts. Composed mainly of coconut wax with natural performance additives, this wax is biodegradable, vegan, and does not contain any genetically modified ingredients, soy, palm or paraffin (without GMO traces) .
Benefits of coconut wax for your scented creations
EcoCoco PillarBlend Wax provides excellent hot and cold scent diffusion, a vibrant white color characteristic of coconut wax, and a smooth surface finish with a slight shine. It only requires one pour and is easy to unmold. It is certified biodegradable and vegan.
Uses of this wax in the manufacturing process
First, prepare the molds by cleaning and preheating them. Melt the wax at 75°C, then add the dyes and perfumes at appropriate temperatures. Pour the melted wax into the molds and let cool at room temperature for 48 hours before testing for combustion.
Preparing the molds
Make sure the molds are clean and free of contaminants. It is recommended to preheat them to around 45-50°C.
Wax melting
Melt the wax at around 75°C. The wax can tolerate temporary temperatures up to 90°C without ill effect, provided it is cooled quickly.
Adding colorings
For powder dyes, heat the wax to around 75°C, add the dye and mix until completely dissolved. For liquid dyes, heat the wax to 70°C.
Adding scents
The wax is designed to accept fragrances at levels of 5-12%. Use specific fragrances for natural waxes for best results.
Payment
Pour the melted wax into the molds at a temperature of around 65°C. For optimal unmolding, allow the candles to cool to room temperature (around 25°C) and wait 48 hours before testing combustion.
Safety tips
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with hot wax, rinse immediately with cold water and consult a doctor if necessary.
