Wholesale offer

Ideal for both novice and professional designers, self-adhesive wick pads are an essential accessory for ensuring precise, long-lasting centring in your containers, thereby limiting tunneling.

Discreet but essential, they fix the metal base firmly to the bottom of the glass to ensure even, controlled combustion. Fitted with a small piece of felt, they provide better grip, particularly for containers with a bottom that is not perfectly flat.

Reliable hold during pouring and combustion thanks to double-sided adhesive pads

Designed to withstand the heat of molten wax, these adhesive pads hold the wick in place both during pouring and burning, provided you use models specifically adapted for candle making.

They are compatible with all types of wax, whether soya, rapeseed, paraffin or blends.

A simple tool for controlled production

Quick to fit and compatible with different wick diameters, these pastilles make it easier to organise and secure your production steps.

For designers producing in volume, they are a real standardisation tool, saving time and reducing combustion defects.

Recommended instructions for gluing your wick correctly

1. Prepare the candle container

Carefully clean the bottom of the glass or jar with isopropyl alcohol or household spirit to remove any dust, grease or residue. Dry thoroughly. The surface must be completely dry to ensure optimum adhesion.

2. Attach the pad to the wick base

Peel the pad from its backing, avoiding touching the adhesive area. Stick it flat under the metal base of the wick and press firmly for 2 to 3 seconds.

3. Place in the container

Remove the second protective film, place the wick in the centre of the container, ideally using a centring tool, then press firmly for a few seconds to ensure it is secure.

4. During and after casting

Follow the recommended pouring temperature for your wax, generally between 60°C and 65°C, to avoid over-softening the adhesive. Use a centring support to keep the wick straight during setting.
