Melt & Pour Solid Soap Base - Crystal 3 Butters

The Crystal 3 Butters Melt & Pour soap base makes solid soap bars with a generous lather , while softening the skin and helping to restore its natural balance.
This opaque white base is ideal for making soaps with nourishing and moisturizing properties thanks to its premium blend of luxurious butters: shea, cocoa and mango , leaving a soft and pleasant finish on the skin.

• Ingredients : Aqua, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Laurate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Oleate, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Chloride, Glyceryl Laurate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocoa Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Mango Butter, Citric Acid, Sodium Thiosulfate, Sodium Citrate, Titanium Dioxide, Tetrasodium Iminodisuccinate, Tetrasodium Etidronate.

Manufacturing process

1. Open & Cut: Remove the soap base from the packaging and cut it into small pieces to facilitate melting and even heating.
2. Melt: Heat the soap base in a suitable container in a double boiler to approximately 75°C. Stir gently to avoid boiling and ensure even melting.
3. Mix : Add flavors, colors, and other additives to your liking. Mix for even distribution.
4. Pour & Let harden: Quickly pour the melted soap base into your mold. Spray with rubbing alcohol to prevent air bubbles. Allow to cool and harden completely before unmolding.

Use and customization

Crystal 3 Butter Melt & Pour soap base is ideal for creating nourishing custom soaps. You can add up to 3% of additives, including a maximum of 1% fragrance. Powdered or liquid colorants can be used to achieve the desired color. It is recommended to dissolve powdered colorants in a small amount of water before adding them to the soap base.

Storage tips

To ensure the quality of your soap base, store it in optimal conditions between 5 and 30°C. Consult the safety data sheet for the shelf life of the base.

Security and stability

Crystal 3 Butters soap base has an alkaline pH, creating a hostile environment for microbes. However, after adding additives and fragrances, additional stability and microbiological testing is recommended. Our bases comply with European regulations for cosmetic products.
