A superb glass container for making scented candles, this glass comes with a plastic cap. This candle glass is ideal for using a wooden wick to create a cosy atmosphere by the fire, thanks to the crackling of the flame. Its amber colour adds a touch of elegance and discretion to the scented candle.

While the coloured wax won't show much through the walls of the glass, the candle fragrance will remain intact thanks to the included lid, so it can be released when you want it.

Thermal properties of amber glass

Amber glass exhibits different thermal properties compared to clear glass, particularly a higher capacity to absorb thermal radiation. This characteristic leads to greater heat accumulation within the container, causing it to reach higher temperatures. This can result in more pronounced internal overheating than with clear glass, increasing the risk of glass weakening.

It is therefore not recommended to use a wick that is too powerful with this type of container, in order to limit any risk of breakage. To ensure optimal combustion, it is essential to choose a suitable wick, as indicated in the following paragraph.

Which wicks should I use?

You're free to use the wicks you like, but here are the wicks we recommend for use with these candle containers:

• TCR Series wicks: TCR 27/16
• ECO Series wicks: ECO 6
• LX Series wicks : LX 14 or LX 16
• STABILO Series wicks : STABILO 14 or STABILO 16
• Wooden drill bits : Flat and double wooden drill bits 13/100
