ABOUT THIS FRAGRANCE
Discover "Precious sandalwood", a woody and spicy fragrance specially adapted to your homemade household products. It blends into our neutral bases for dishwashing liquid, floor cleaner, multi-purpose cleaner or liquid soap and turns housework into a warm, enveloping moment with elegant accents.
All our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and made in Grasse, in Provence, France, by master perfumers. They comply with European (CLP EC No 1907/2006 & 1223/2009/EEC) and French (IFRA) standards.
None of the fragrances in our catalogue is tested on animals.
The top notes spring forth with lemon, cinnamon and pink berries: a lively, sparkling opening in which the tangy brightness of the citrus is at once wrapped in the gentle warmth of cinnamon, while pink berries slip in a peppery, slightly fruity spark. From the very first seconds the room awakens, luminous and already comforting.
The heart notes unfold tonka, white wood and clove. Tonka brings a velvety roundness with hints of almond, white wood draws a dry, luminous elegance, and clove underlines the whole with a deep, refined spicy vibration. The atmosphere turns hushed, like a pale-wood lounge warmed by a discreet fire.
The base notes settle sandalwood, vanilla and dry wood into a lasting signature. Creamy sandalwood wraps the room in a milky softness, vanilla rounds it off with a gourmand warmth that never overwhelms, and dry wood leaves a woody, dry and elegant trail that lingers long after you have passed by. A warm, enveloping fragrance with elegant accents.
This fragrance was designed for detergents: it blends into our neutral bases for multi-purpose cleaner, floor cleaner, washing-up liquid and liquid soap at 2% fragrance, whatever the use. Simply mix the fragrance into the neutral base, then stir until homogeneous.
These dosages are only suggestions. To personalise your creations, we invite you to carry out your own tests according to the aromatic intensity you are looking for, within the maximum dosage indicated in the IFRA certificate available for download on the product page.
If you wish to thin the raw fragrance, heat it to a maximum of 30 degrees.
Enjoy a symphony of lasting aromas, thanks to our high-quality fragrance guaranteeing a unique olfactory result throughout the life of your creation.
Choose optimal quality with our "Precious sandalwood" fragrance from Grasse. Your creativity deserves the best.

Visit our blogCandle fragrances are governed by European REACH, CLP and IFRA standards, guaranteeing safe use when heated.
Some may contain CMR substances, but the final candle is not dangerous. As the fragrance is diluted in the wax, the risk remains low under normal conditions.
Natural does not necessarily mean safer; some natural materials also contain CMR compounds, while synthetic alternatives can be better controlled.
Most phthalates are banned: only ethyl phthalate remains authorised, within a strict framework, and it is not considered hazardous under current regulations.
Finally, regulations change regularly, which can alter the classification without changing the formula. "Without CMR" or "Ethyl-phthalate-free" filters help you make your choice.
Conversely, "CMR-free" does not mean "risk-free": these fragrances may contain natural allergens, and their IFRA dosages must still be respected.
Here, "CMR-free" means zero presence, not "below the declaration threshold": the absence is attested by each fragrance's CMR certificate.
To understand it all: Fragrances and CMR: let's not lump it all together
A perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for up to 24 months. If the perfume crystallises, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.
We do not offer samples. The smallest packaging is 30 mL for most fragrances.
However, you can exchange your loyalty points for a selection of 30ml fragrances in your dedicated area.
