Crystal SLS Free Soap Base is a Melt & Pour soap base formulated without the synthetic surfactant sodium lauryl sulfate . This base is ideal for making mild, clear soaps , perfect for all skin types, even the most sensitive.

Manufacturing process

1. Open & Cut: Remove the soap base from the packaging and cut it into small pieces to facilitate melting and even heating.
2. Melt: Heat the soap base in a suitable container in a double boiler to approximately 75°C. Stir gently to avoid boiling and ensure even melting.
3. Mix: Add flavors, colors, and other additives according to your preferences. Mix for even distribution.
4. Pour & Harden: Quickly pour the melted soap base into your mold. Spray with rubbing alcohol to avoid air bubbles. Allow to cool and harden completely before unmolding.

Use and customization

Crystal SLS-Free Melt & Pour soap base is ideal for creating custom soaps. You can add up to 3% of additives, including a maximum of 1% fragrance. Powdered or liquid colorants can be used to achieve the desired color. It is recommended to dissolve powdered colorants in a small amount of water before adding them to the soap base.

Storage tips

To ensure the quality of your soap base, store it in optimal conditions between 5 and 30°C. Consult the safety data sheet for the shelf life of the base.

Security and stability

Crystal SLS-Free soap base has an alkaline pH, creating a hostile environment for microbes. However, after adding additives and fragrances, additional stability and microbiological testing is recommended. Our bases comply with European regulations for cosmetic products.
