Melt & Pour Solid Soap Base - WST

WST Crystal Melt & Pour Soap Base is a white base ideal for creating opaque soaps with vibrant colors or simply for making bright, uniform white soaps.

Manufacturing process

1. Open & Cut: Remove the soap base from the package and cut it into small pieces to facilitate melting and even heating.
2. Melt: Heat the soap base in a suitable container in a double boiler to approximately 75°C. Stir gently to avoid boiling and ensure even melting.
3. Mix: Add flavors, colors, and other additives according to your preference. Mix for even distribution.
4. Pour & Harden: Quickly pour the melted soap base into your mold. Spray with rubbing alcohol to avoid air bubbles. Allow to cool and harden completely before unmolding.

Use and customization

WST Crystal Melt & Pour Soap Base is ideal for creating brightly colored, custom soaps. You can add up to 3% of additives, including a maximum of 1% fragrance. Powdered or liquid colorants can be used to achieve the desired color. It is recommended to dissolve powdered colorants in a small amount of water before adding them to the soap base.

Storage tips

To ensure the quality of your soap base, store it in optimal conditions between 5 and 30°C. Consult the safety data sheet for the shelf life of the base.

Security and stability

Crystal WST soap base is pH balanced, creating a microbe-friendly environment. However, after adding additives and fragrances, additional stability and microbiological testing is recommended. Our bases comply with European regulations for cosmetic products.
