Our recommendations for use in your DIY creation
Candle fragrances
This soy wax for candles in a container can be used with any type of fragrance, but we recommend choosing one of excellent quality. An entry-level fragrance could alter the candle's combustion and not provide optimal olfactory rendering.
If you are using our candle fragrances, you can use a dosage between 7 and 10%.
Filling the candle
Melt the wax gently in a bain-marie and do not exceed 90°C . The melting point is around 45°C (42-48°C) . After pouring, let it cool to room temperature (20°-25°C).
Candle wicks
With soy wax , we recommend TCR or ECO type candle wicks, to be chosen according to the diameter of your container.
Candle dye
On our website, you'll find a wide range of colorants to give your candle beautiful colors. These are available in powder, liquid, or shavings. It should be added during the heating phase of your candle, at less than 70°C , and stir well to ensure that the color is distributed evenly. If you're also adding fragrance, it should be included at the end of this step.
Cooling the candle
Once poured, let the candle cool to room temperature and let it rest for 48 hours before using it. This will ensure the candle holds its shape perfectly!
The color and shape of the chips may vary depending on the arrival and harvest.
