Looking for a candle that instantly evokes holidays, sunshine and summer terraces? The Peach Iced Tea candle is a stunning visual creation that reproduces the appearance of a cool drink served on the rocks. Its fruity, thirst-quenching fragrance makes it a decorative piece that's as seductive as it is pleasant to diffuse.
Original, trendy and perfectly suited to the summer season, this candle will appeal to both DIY enthusiasts and designers looking to enhance their summer collection with a creation with a strong visual impact.
An ideal creation for summer sales
With the arrival of summer, customers are looking for fresh, fruity and visually appealing scents. This candle combines all the elements of a favourite product.
- A delicious, refreshing fragrance
- Original ice-cream design
- Holiday spirit and relaxation
- Easy-to-give format
- Excellent visual impact in a shop or on a stand
However, beware of the summer heat. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun or in a closed vehicle to preserve the structure of the paraffin gel. The same applies to the gender reveal candle : too high a temperature could soften the wax, causing it to start melting and revealing its inner colour before use.

The essential ingredients for this creation
The raw materials
- 250 g paraffin gel
- 7% to 10% peach iced tea flavouring
- 0.25 g brown colouring granules (representing 0.1% of 250 g)
For a pastel finish, use between 0.1% and 0.2% colouring. For a more intense effect, use between 0.3% and 0.5% more.
Accessories
- Candle glass 200 mL
- LX 22 wick
- Rectangular mould
- Self-adhesive sticker
- Wick centring device
- Serrated knife
- Water bath or two metal containers
- Pipette
- Wick cutter
Steps for making your beverage candle
1. Prepare your container
Stick the self-adhesive pad to the bottom of the glass, fix the wick in the centre and hold it straight using a centring tool. Anticipating this step allows you to concentrate on the temperatures during pouring.
2. Making the decorative icicles
Melt some of the paraffin gel at around 90°C. Add 7% to 10% of the fragrance, then mix gently. Never exceed 110°C. Pour into the mould and leave to harden completely. Go straight on to the next step, as the gel must remain at the same temperature.
3. Prepare the coloured base
Gradually add the brown colouring to the rest of the gel, which is still melted and hot, to obtain a shade similar to iced tea. In this case, 0.25 g of granulated colouring is enough. Then pour into the prepared container.
4. Cut the ice cubes
Unmould the cooled blocks then cut them into irregular cubes using a serrated knife to enhance the realistic effect.
5. Incorporate the ice cubes
Wait until the base is no longer too hot before adding the cubes to avoid distorting them. Arrange them naturally, varying the heights and angles.
Tip : the remaining gel can be kept to make future jelly fondants.
Storage tips
- To preserve the beauty and fragrance of your candle, store it in a cool place away from sources of heat.
- Protect it from dust with a lid or cloche to maintain the transparency of the gel and an impeccable visual effect.
