Composed mainly of coconut wax with natural performance additives, this wax is biodegradable, vegan, and does not contain any genetically modified ingredients, soy, palm or paraffin (without traces of GMO) .
EcoCoco wax for container candle production offers excellent hot and cold fragrance diffusion, a bright white color characteristic of coconut wax, and a smooth surface finish with excellent adhesion to glass. It requires only one pour.
Prepare the containers by cleaning and preheating them. Melt the coconut wax at 70°C . Add the colorants at 75°C for the grains and at 70°C for the liquids. Incorporate the fragrance at 5-12%. Pour the melted wax at 60°C into the containers and let cool for 48 hours before testing.
Make sure the containers are clean and free of contaminants. It is recommended to preheat them to around 45-50°C.
Melt the wax at about 70°C. Coconut wax can tolerate temporary temperatures up to 90°C without adverse effects, provided it is cooled quickly.
For powdered dyes, heat the wax to about 75°C, add the dye and mix until completely dissolved. For liquid dyes, heat the wax to 70°C.
The wax is designed to accept fragrances at levels of 5-12%.
For best results, add your fragrance oil as close to pouring temperature as possible and stir immediately before pouring. It may be possible to achieve better adhesion to containers by pouring more fragrance oil than is poured at.
Pour the melted wax into the containers at a temperature of around 60°C. For best results, let the candles cool to room temperature (around 25°C) and wait 48 hours before testing the combustion.
Containers should be clean and free from contaminants. They should be at least at room temperature, although pre-heating the containers to around 45-50°C may be beneficial and allow for better adhesion.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with hot wax, rinse immediately with cold water and consult a doctor if necessary.
