A versatile Cargill NatureWax® C3 for quality candles and creations
Our C3 soy wax is specially developed for making scented candles in containers. Thanks to its creamy texture and smooth finish, it ensures an impeccable surface and excellent olfactory reproduction. Versatile, of natural origin, biodegradable and easy to work with, this soy wax lets you give life to handmade candles, scented melts, massage candles or even gourmet creations with a whipped cream finish.
Cast candles
For successful container candles, we recommend adding around 10% stearin and incorporating the fragrance at a temperature of 75°C. The wax then ensures optimum adhesion to the glass and even diffusion of the scents.
Gourmet whipped cream
Ideal for your whipped wax creams, C3 gives a smooth, stable, airy texture, perfect for decorative creations with a gourmet look.
Scented wax fondants
By combining C3 with 5% beeswax, you can make solid, long-lasting fondants. The result will be different from that of olive or rapeseed waxes, but will offer a different way of creating.
Massage candles
By adding 20% coconut oil and shea butter, you'll obtain a creamy wax suitable for making nourishing and relaxing massage candles, for a real well-being experience.

Optimum use for soy-scented candles
Stable and efficient, it offers a neutral base odour that enhances both light and intense fragrances. It burns evenly and has a bright flame, ideal for professional looking candles.
Melting point and use temperature
C3 soy wax has a melting point of 51°C, making it particularly easy to work with as it melts quickly. We always recommend adding 10% stearin to this wax. A single pour is usually all that's needed, which really saves time.
Thanks to its specific properties, C3 soy wax offers excellent fragrance reproduction without alteration, as it is itself naturally odourless. As a result, your candles will offer a beautiful, luminous, even flame throughout their burn time.
Fragrance integration
When burning, your soy wax candle will remain totally neutral if you choose not to scent it.
This vegetable soya wax is compatible with all types of scented oils suitable for candles. However, we recommend that you only use fragrances specially designed for this purpose, to ensure optimal combustion and perfect olfactory reproduction.
If you choose our fragrances for candles, respect a maximum dosage of between 7% and 10%, depending on the reference used. Beyond this, the quality of the combustion and the diffusion of the fragrance could be altered.
For optimum fragrance diffusion, add it to the wax during the cooling phase, between 75°C and 80°C.
Colouring
Our shop offers a wide range of dyes for candles in different forms: grain or liquid. Add your dye during the heating phase at around 70°C and mix carefully to ensure a perfectly even colour. If you're also planning to add a fragrance, add it at the end of this stage.
Choice of containers
C3 soy wax is perfectly suited to glass, ceramic pots or metal cans. Melt it in a bain-marie, avoiding temperatures above 90°C to preserve its qualities.
Choice of wicks
For even burning, we recommend the use of TCR cotton wicks, selected according to the diameter of the container.
Cooling and resting
After pouring, allow to cool to room temperature and wait at least 48 hours before lighting your candles. This stabilisation phase is essential for harmonious combustion and optimal fragrance diffusion.
